Not sure where to Shoot?

Let's Talk Location!

Choosing a location can be tough, but don’t worry - I’ve got suggestions. Below is a list of places I’ve loved photographing in the past. Each one offers its own vibe and charm. I’m always up for exploring new spots! If you’ve got a unique location in mind, let me know, and I’ll give you a special discount for the adventure.

Kirkland Fields

Tucked away in a quiet part of town, Kirkland Field offers wide open space, golden grass, and beautiful desert light - perfect for capturing warm, earthy tones in your photos. It’s a peaceful and versatile spot, great for portraits, couples, or seniors who want a natural, laid-back vibe. The field glows during golden hour, making every shot feel soft, dreamy, and timeless.

Virgin River

If you’re looking for a natural, peaceful backdrop that doesn’t feel like typical Southern Utah, the Virgin River is a perfect choice. With soft white sand, clear water, and tall cattails, it offers a relaxed, beachy vibe that’s great for barefoot photos, playful shots, and dreamy golden hour lighting. Be prepared to get a little wet or sandy.

Tonaquint Park

Tonaquint Park is a beautiful, shaded location perfect for family sessions, couples, and senior portraits. With its tall trees, winding pathways, duck pond, and charming footbridges, the park offers a variety of lush, green backdrops that feel timeless and peaceful. It’s an ideal spot for those who want a classic, nature-filled look without hiking or getting messy. There’s plenty of parking and restrooms nearby, making it super convenient for families and outfit changes.

Pioneer Park

Pioneer Park is perfect for adventurous, bold photos with that classic Southern Utah red rock look. With stunning cliffs, slot canyons, and sweeping views of St. George, it’s ideal for dramatic landscapes, fun couples shoots, and senior portraits with personality. The textured rocks and golden hour lighting make every shot pop. Wear comfy shoes - you’ll be climbing around a bit - and be ready for epic views and natural beauty in every direction.

Snow Canyon White Rocks

White Rocks offers a dreamy, light-toned desert backdrop unlike anywhere else in Southern Utah. The soft white sandstone reflects sunlight beautifully, giving photos a clean, glowing look - especially at sunrise or sunset. With gentle slopes and wide open spaces, it’s great for flowy dresses, barefoot shots, and peaceful portraits. Bring water, good shoes, and expect a short walk to reach the best spots.

Snow Canyon Sand Dunes

The Sand Dunes are perfect for playful, natural photos with soft textures and warm tones. Think running barefoot, kids jumping off hills, or golden-hour couples cuddles. The light bounces beautifully off the sand, and the dunes create simple, clean backgrounds that let your personality shine. It’s an easy walk from the parking lot, but be prepared to get sandy - especially if little ones are involved!

Snow Canyon Overlook

Snow Canyon Overlook is all about epic views and dramatic scenery. With sweeping red cliffs, layered rock formations, and a panoramic view of the valley below, this spot is made for adventurous couples, seniors, or elopement-style sessions. The trail is short but rocky, so wear sturdy shoes. The lighting is incredible during golden hour, making it totally worth the climb for those breathtaking shots.

Pine Valley

Pine Valley offers a refreshing mountain escape just 45 minutes from St. George, providing a lush, alpine setting that’s a stark contrast to the surrounding desert landscapes. The area boasts grassy meadows, dense pine forests, a serene reservoir, and charming features like rustic bridges and a historic chapel, making it an ideal backdrop for family sessions, engagements, and senior portraits.

Sand Hollow

Sand Hollow State Park offers a stunning blend of fiery red sand beaches and vibrant blue waters, creating a unique backdrop reminiscent of a tropical paradise. Located just 15 miles east of St. George, this spot is perfect for capturing playful family moments, romantic engagements, and adventurous senior portraits.
